The correct scientific name for hydrangea is Hydrangea. It originates from Asia and North America. It is an ornamental plant with large spherical white, pink, and bluish flowerheads, technically called corymbs. Its scientific name is derived from the Greek words 'hydor' - water, and 'angeion' - vessel, either because hydrangeas require a lot of water to grow or because their capsules resemble water vessels.
With regard to the natural origin of flowers, slight variations in shades and sizes may occur.
